About the project
METIO partnered with Rawa Community School to fully renovate the school's historical punmu campus main building. METIO managed the project from start to completion, including project development, community consultations, grant writing, coordinating the design, tendering, and managing all contractors.
The project was 100% grant funded with support from:

The first building constructed in the Punmu community is now renovated with its life extended
New school facilities such as a language centre, commercial kitchen and meeting spaces have been created
Renovation works created jobs for community members
New partnerships built. Corporate partners became involved with the community, visiting, learning and making financial and in kind contributions
Increased community engagement with the school
